Surprisingly, my family did not have anything to do with horses when I was born. I have a sister and 2 brothers and we would go to a lake in New Hampshire during the summer. My parents were trying to think of activities for all of us to do while we were there to occupy 4 toddlers, and stumbled upon a barn that did a summer camp riding lesson program near our house. I was about 2 years old the first time they put me on a horse, and I fell in love and never looked back! As I got a little older, I started taking lessons more regularly and my parents said I just always loved being at the barn. When the farrier was there, they said they should have paid him a babysitting fee because I'd spend all day there watching him. We moved to Wellington, Florida about 13 years ago so that I could pursue riding at a higher level.
