Find a riding buddy! If not, find things to look forward to and plan out your rides. Look up riding exercises to work on, etc. it is harder when you head to the barn with no real purpose other than to exercise your horse
I feel the same, now that I have sold my horse three years ago and only recently been getting lessons every two weeks I find myself being unmotivated. The best thing to do in my experience and go out and ride. If that’s not always an option then watch videos on YouTube about horses and Equestrian lifestyle, that’s what helps me at least
I just remember that my horse can't speak for herself and is a reflection my being a good horse owner... that makes me feel guilty enough when I'm feeling lazy. My horse deserves riding. I get what you mean though.
Everyone has them, but my best way is to watch some top level horses and riders and it usually gets me motivated to jump back in the saddle again because I want to be one of those riders someday
Honestly, everyone has those days. Some days are just not for riding, even professionals feel like this sometimes. I know I have days like this a lot, usually once I go I’m very happy I went but other days I just don’t want to do it. And that’s okay, everyone needs a break sometimes!
