Hi Nicole, if you have a nice saddle fitter you can look at second hand saddles, this will make your bank account a little less sad! I have a second hand Stübben Edelweiss, it's always been taken care of very well and it still looks and sits very nice, even for shows 😊
Eric Thomas. It’s a French brand that makes the most comfortable saddles ever. Mines the only saddle that I can turn my right leg in on
Antares works really well for my warmbloods. I have a cheap mondega for my thoroughbred because it fits and isn't horrible to ride in. I know people who love Jeffries but they just don't work for me.
Go to a saddle consignment store and sit in a bunch and see what feels good to you.
I like Wintec for just about everything, Bates is pretty good to, good quality, holds up well and if taken care of right looks nice in the show ring, but I do dressage and flat mostly, so I don’t know about their jumping saddles. I’ve had a GP Wintec saddle for almost ten years and a Wintec Dressage for about six years and they both look good as new
Give CWD a chance. Look on Facebook at rosewood tack they offer more affordable alternatives. A cheaper nice saddle can be found you just have to be willing to look. Good luck!
