Don’t over think anything! Just be nice and light with a slight tip forward.
So exciting! Don’t focus on too much right now, but I’ll say some things I notice on new jumpers 😄 don’t over do the two point for the lower jumps - just tip forward a bit, make sure not to pull on the horse’s mouth (“release” by sliding your hands slightly forward so the horse’s balance isn’t being interferes with), don’t pinch with your knees or you will likely end up in the horse’s neck (try to distribute equally between the calves, knees, and thighs). Just thoughts for the future - no need to worry about it all at once 😄
Be confident and enjoy the ride! It’s not about how good you look, it’s about getting a feel for what your doing. Good luck!
