Oh! So is it for a package of lessons? If so that sounds like a normal price.
@ Lizzy Baker, yes I am the one paying for the lessons. It’s 8 (45 min) lessons.
Are you the one paying for the lessons? If not then I'm assuming you're looking at the price on the website. 500+ sounds like board, not lessons.
$45 for 30 mins, $260 for a "package" of 6
It all matters on the trainers level for the cost, where you’re located and if you’re using a lesson horse or your own. My lessons only cost me 30$ per lesson hour long.
Group here is $30-$40 usually and private is roughly $50-$65. High level coaches are always a bit more than that though.
When I took lessons I paid roughly $65 per lesson. Each lesson was 90 minutes long and they were group lessons. The prices I paid were considered in the high range of normal and the prices you are paying sound super expensive so best of luck finding something more budget-friendly.
I pay $50 for an hour here in New Zealand. Depends on the experience of the instructor. Our school funded our team to do a $380 2day show jumping course. That price is per person
$50-75
That sounds like a crazy amount. My private lessons are about $45
Ouch! Here, it's about €25 for a group lesson, or about €40-€50 for a private one.
