Above all, in my life it brings me humility because it is a sport where nothing can be taken for granted. We can spend a weekend with amazing results, and the weekend after can't ride because our horse is injured or doesn't feel well. It is an endlessly repetitive cycle, it is not a sport where you can be the best for a very long time. There are ups and downs, so it really teaches humility because we depend on an animal. It is quite amazing.

It is also a mixed sport, in which we share and exchange with girls, who are sometimes better than us. It is pleasant to share this with female riders.

It also brings me adrenaline, my need of competition and surpassing myself, and focus. The fact that you have to retreat in your cocoon is something that gives me a lot regarding cinema. Just like when you enter the ring, and for one minute you have to be fully focused on what you do, what you will do, and don't be taken aback by things happening around the ring, you kind of have to do the same in the filming industry. When we shoot a scene on a set with 50 technicians, extras, you have to ignore what happens around you, focus on what you do and retreat in your cocoon.
