I just got a horse and he thinks he can play tricks with me because he knows I’m nervous (a little). How do I show him who is the boss?

You don't you have to be confident in your riding and you horse
I had a similar problem with a horse once, he was only 4, full of energy, and was already huge in comparison to me (I was only like 14). His attitude problems all went away when I changed my own attitude and understood that even though I respected him and his strenght, I was actually the boss.
Do lots of ground work to gain respect and his movement of his feet. I have a 17 hand horse and i had the same problem. I did some ground work and he is good as nee
Well a horse can feel how your energy is. So if you get on all confident he will know you are the boss so he won't try to buck you off and he will understand that he is not the boss
He is just testing you it will go away soon 💓It happens to most horses and riders
he always tries to go the opposite direction of what i am asking. today my trainer helped me fix it with a crop and we were fine. but i just need to be confident. anyone got tips???
