I’m looking into getting my first horse, but it would be really hard with school and not having land of my own. What do you think I should do?

I agree with Anais and Alannah ! Leasing is a great way to get your feet wet but is very manageable.
I have just started loaning and it has worked out great because I still have the owner to ask for help from as I am still learning all the uns and outs of owning
i agree with Anais! I think that in your case a lease of some sort would be the best option. This way you can figure out if you have the time for your own horse!
Hello Tess !

I think that first of all, you could try to find an owner that would let you take care of his horse and let you ride him like 3 or 4 times a week, like a sorte of rental, you know ? That would help you see what it takes to care of a horse, and that would help the owner at the same time. It could be a good deal for the two of you.
Then, if you see that you can actually find the time to deal with school AND a horse, then you could find a nice barn where to put your horse. If you look well, you can find some that aren't that expensive.
