How do you get over riding? It’s just not possible for me money and time wise but there isn’t one single day that I don’t still dream about it, it’s my biggest passion, so every time reality hits all over again it’s like feeling into the deepest darkest hole

I think that contacting a stables and offering to do free jobs and help out in your spare time in return for a lesson a week or one lesson every two weeks is something a stables could consider, also can you check out my page and follow ;)
over the time i have been riding, i have had to take many breaks, one of which was over a yearlong. i think it really helps to realize that it’s not forever gone. one day you’ll go back and continue your journey. but in the meantime if you have opportunities, you should apply for a job at a barn so you can see horses. if that is not possible, then i completely understand. for me what helps is watching youtube videos and researching things i have always wanted to learn, such as different training types, massage therapy for horses, how their minds work, etc etc. practice what you can at home. maybe teach your dog to jump. they are the cutest at it. or make riding outfits. if riding is just not possible in the future any time soon, i would try to remind myself that some day it will be back and find new hobbies. i hope this can be of some help:)
