Sometimes I feel scared in my riding- I feel off a jump a while ago and it took like 2 months for me to be able to canter again. I still do not feel as safe as I used to --
Edit: I have got my confidence back, I just tried to remain calm. When my trainer asked if I would like to canter I did not get that feeling in my gut, I have also learned dressage is for me! Thank you for the support and the ideas <3
I can not wait to continue my very long journey into the dressage world!
Maybe find a horse you can ride that is kinda laid back ( not going to take off with you) and have a goal! Every time you ride him/her add a stride. For example the first time riding do just one stride. The next time do 2. Next do 3 and so on! Also work on trotting before trying to canter
Yes it would just take it easy but always end on a good note
(continued) I get nervous at the canter and I have not even thought of jumping again. I want to get my confidence back up. I have found a loan pony that is good for beginners- would that help in any way?
