I'm going to tell you a little about how I came to meet Deenie (Houdini) & how it affects where we are today!
It all started with a friend of mine going to Llanybydder horse sales (in South Wales, UK) & bidding on the wrong horse! Please, don't ask me how but she did! They bought Deenie & after 24hours in the sales & organising transport they brought her home. My friend rented a 9 acre field, made up of lots of pathways, hideaways & a very good natural place for horses.
I got a phonecall the next day to say that she'd bought this pony but couldn't get anywhere near her. She'd been turnout into this field after a harrowing 48hours.
The next day I went to my friends to help her, after 2 & a half hours we managed to get the pony between the fence & a high bush of brambles. I managed to get a rope around the pony's neck & shortly after she jumped the brambles. After a few minutes of running around she stood on the rope dragging on the floor & realised she couldn't move! That was how I came to know Deenie.
I spent a few days at my friends & got to know this strange pony. I was 15 and she was 4. I asked my parents if I could bring her home & they agreed. She wasn't fit for purpose, a child's riding pony. First pony at that!
That's how our journey started! I don't have any pictures to attach from then at the moment but I will attach one of her now. She's a pretty pony & 10 years old now!!
