Guys I'm really discouraged in my riding:( I feel like I'm not getting better only getting worse, any advice?
I've been in your spot before. What I did was switch barns & trainers. It really helped and where i'm at now is amazing. I always feel motivated and confident. You just have to find the right people to be around and train with. That was the key for me
Hello! First time asking something here. I feel kind of held back at my riding school, is there something I could do to keep my motivation up?
I've felt like this before, and i ended up switching facilities and trainers multiple times. Eventually i found the perfect place for me. The training is excellent, and the atmosphere & people are very encouraging. It's very helpful to be in a good environment where you feel confident, it's a good motivator. So, i would suggest switching where you ride or your trainer. It worked well for me
Any advice for when your horse won't slow down in a canter?
My horse has a problem when taking off the bridle, he lifts his head up high with the bit stuck in his mouth, what should I do?
one of the horses i ride does the same thing when putting on the bridle. i just wrap my arm around her face and hold her head down.
How can I make money to pay for my horse? I want to save money for future payments, but I'm not sure what to do. 🤔Any ideas?
Pick up slack around your barn so you don't have to pay so much for lessons/board. That way you aren't spending so much money and you can save it for other things. I know a few people at my place do chores around the barn for our trainer and they get free lessons & discounts on board :)
