What is your opinion on rubber reins? I usually ride in the laced kind only, but these rubber ones are available to me easier, than buying an expensive pair of laced.
well it depends on if you are going to be showing. rubber reins don't look great in the hunter ring but if they are just for schooling they should be fine. i have found that i get blisters from them without gloves but some people don't.
I have been riding for 7 years and I would really like my own horse, but my parents are always says no. Any ideas on how to convince them?
see if there is anyone at your barn open to a half or full lease! if you are fully committed for a year after having your own horse to take care of, ask to buy
So I own a pair of Heritage riding gloves and they've shown some wear and tear with just under four months of use. Any brand recommendations that can take wear and tear?
some people say that roeckl gloves tear easily but i've had mine for almost 6 months and they haven't broken down at all. they are the most comfortable gloves I've ever worn. the fabric is so breathable and light but still looks like leather for showing.
I just got a saddle and my horse is still getting dry spots by her withers. I had it re panels twice and still having trouble with dry spots. Is there any thing I can do?
the ogilvy memory foam half pads are amazing! they are a little pricey but i've had mine for over a year now and its held up great :) :)
