What is it called when you have a supple horse under you, hind end engaged and mouth in hand, and how do you do it? I always watch and hear about riders that talk about it.
You can just keep a light contact on your horse and they move nicely under you without you having to constantly give them the aids to do so. Every horse is different, with mine I open my chest and hips and drive her with my upper calf
Do you think it is possible to go from jumping 2’3” (starting 2’6”) to jumping 3ft (minimum) by end of this year?
It definitely depends on how fast you learn as a rider, if you’re a fast learner and can ride the courses correctly I think you’ll have no problem. If you take more time to learn probably not
Is it important for beginner riders to wear boots or can they wear any training shoes?
Boots are made for safety, not looks. They keep the door from sliding through the stirrup, espicallg since most beginners tend to keep the stirrup farther back on their foot for comfort
