My 13 year old gelding has recently been too forward and strong and although I am riding him very often he still keeps pulling. What should I do to restrict his energy?
I had the same problem and the solution was to stop feeding him with oats and started with balanced meal (with no energy stuff)

In my experience, the connection between your legs and your horse is most important thing to work out. I can tell, I’ve been jumping for 9 years since I was 8 and I was never taught how to manage control over my legs and leave them steady, and know that I’ve been practicing dressage for almost 6 years, is the most hard part for me during training sessions!
