What do you prefer between Knabstupper and Black and white paint?
Hello Maddi,
A knabstupper is a BREED of horse, white a paint is a completely separate breed. A black and white paint can look similar in markings, but they are completely unrelated and in totally different breeds.
Hope this helped,
Grace

I'm moving my horses soon to a yard where they will be in a mixed herd & mine have been just my 2 for a while & I'm adding a 3rd ! Do you have any tips to lessen the stress?
Hello Megan!
My biggest tip to lessen their stress is to introduce them to the new horses through the fence and let them know each other before turning them out fully.
Horses move all the time, and it can be stressful, but I'm sure you will be fine!
Good luck,
Grace

I just starting jumping again after a long time . Do you have any quick tips to catch up?
Hello Kaylee!
The best tip I have for you is to really focus on that when you lesson. Work on your form primarily, and as that becomes second nature again, the height of the jump will matter less and less.
Good luck!

Hope this helps!

Tips for learning to jump courses? (lead changes, how to quickly memorize them)
Hello Lauren!
The dreaded course memorization, it's something all of us struggle with. My biggest advice is to visualize the course in your head. I've even heard friends that make a store out of it ex: butterfly oxer goes up into the cloud vertical.
This can help as well. For me I visualize the jumps and in my head put them all together in my course and kee running it.
Repeating it out loud a lot ALSO helps as it keeps your brain thinking about it "red oxer, blue vertical"
How this helps!

Does anyone have any tips for teaching a horse Liberty?
Hello Maddie!
Liberty is amazing, and is a beautiful way to grow and further your relationship with your horse.
Since it would be a book of a comment for you to read, here are some YouTube videos that drastically helped me!
Check out "Oreoliberty"
She has everything you need and a whole SERIES of videos :) I linked the best one to start with below:

How would I go about teaching my bitless youngster to perform a leg yield?
Hello Lucy!
First off, I commend you for going bitless! That is great and should have no impact on training your horse :)
As far as beginning the leg yield, it can be a bit of a long process all depending on the horse.
I would start in the ground as ground work is the foundation for any type of riding exercise.
Apply pressure to where your leg would be with your hand and click asking for movement in that direction. When your horse understands give a large reward (does NOT have to be a treat).
Once he understands that move into the saddle. Start at the walk by putting pressure on the opposite leg of the direction you want to go. Tighten your inside rein and open your outside. This makes an opening for your horse and it's like your pushing them into the open rein.
Good luck!!
