My goal is to go to the olympics one day and at the same time make sure my horse is happy and healthy while doing it. My main goal is to compete at levels that keep my horse happy too. For me it’s not all about the ribbons.
Looking for a saddle but for time being I’m borrowing a friend's... the back of the saddle bounces when I ride and bothers my mare's back. Is there any temporary solutions you know of?
Maybe try to fold a towel and place it under the back of the saddle so it doesn’t move up and down
I have such a messy horse, do you have any tips on keeping the bed as clean a possible, what do you use and how to keep him from turning it into a mess?
Try putting some hanging treats, a salt lick, a jolly ball, or any toy really in his/her stall to keep him/her distracted from making a mess
I am looking for a new horse and 2 have caught my eye. Do I go for the 11yo grey that constantly needs slowing down or the 10yo that needs more leg? I am coming off a 5yo that needed leg
11 yo grey... it seems like you could learn a lot from her/him and you’d have a different experience that you might like better. Also, this horse may be good for jumping because of the energy and forward ness.
