It’s legit so much fun! Except when you learn that your horse is scared of puddles and he rears 😂 but bareback is awesome and it’s snowing in Canada so why not!

What are your thoughts on riding with spurs, is it more useful than a crop and are you for or against it and if so, why?
I’ve only ever used a crop. I don’t think that spurs are nessacary unless jumping over 1m and if you’re a experienced rider! They are NOT AN ESSENTIAL!

Is there anyway for a horse to get over the fear/anxiety of jumping (due to a bad jump experience with previous owner)?
Start from the very beginning with just ground poles and slowly build up
