Can someone list all the blankets you need for your horse? :)
I live in Alaska so it definitely depends on where you live and what the climate is like but here are the blankets I use on my horses. Cooler, stable sheet, rain sheet (no fill), turnout blanket (200 gram fill) with neck and a 200 gram insolator to go in side my turnout when it below zero. I also recommend two turnout blankets and two rain sheets if your horse’s blankets are soaking wet or muddy when they come in just so you can rotate the blankets so they can fully dry after each use.
My thoroughbred mare travels amazing on the left rein but on the right she drops her shoulder and falls into the circle. Are there any exercises I can try to stop this from happening?
Stretching them out after a work out might help it does wonders for my thoroughbred gelding along with riding exercises.
How do I get my horse to relax more?
My pony used to be very tense all the time. I just began by being very slow and calm around her with everything I did. I also spent loads of time with her. This may sound kinda of silly but it has worked so well with my mare and our bond is so much stronger.
Anybody know if it would be worth while sending a 4 years old of for professional schooling if she bucks rears and bolts or will that most likely never change anybody have recommendations?
Those problems are definitely fix able but as said in the other comments just make sure it is not pain related first. Also if you send her off to a professional keep in mind that you want to understand how the person is fixing these bad behaviors so you can accommodate to how she has been trained when she comes back, because most horses will revert back to there old behaviors if the rider does not change how they work with the horse.
