Do you have any tips on what to put into your bag for a show?
Hello Eleanor, when I am at a show I have everything for my horse (saddle, bridle, saddle pad...) of course, my equipment (helmet, show jacket, boots...) and I carry with me a backpack with treats for my horse, a small bottle of water, lip balm, suntan if it's summer, a hoodie if it gets cold, a snack (banana, nuts, bars...), a lunge and I guess that's it!
What do you think about Danielle Goldstein's hairstyle? I really love it, at every show I always wonder what will be the colors of the feathers!
I am not a big fan of her hairstyle, I mean horse riding has codes and traditions we are proud of (the white breeches, show jackets...). The show ring is not really the place to wear that kind of hairstyle, it's like wearing a fancy equipment, I don't really like it. I prefer to focus on what really matters: the horse and horse riding.
Do you have Reviews on pixio camera or something similar? Have you done virtual lessons before?
Hi Lindsey, I tried the pixio camera (a friend has one) and it's so great! It works really well, it's easy to set up and the quality is great. The only thing to be careful of is the lighting, if you ride in an indoor arena for example 🙂
My ankles tend to hurt really bad when I ride. Do you know any exercises, stirrups, etc. that could help?
Hello Hannah 🙂 I had this problem before and I bought flex on stirrups it really helped! I also work on my general balance with a lot of no stirrups work and on the position of my feet when I was riding (I use to point my feet outward)
