For fashion: I loved Gaultier's work with Hermès.

For art: Asian terracotta horses we can see at the Guimet Museum fascinate me.

I had to create hairstyles for a Feraud fashion show, where the theme was horses.
I got inspired by the wise braidings of horses' manes for traditional scenes.

Funnier, I recently had to set up into a hairstyle a toy made of sheet metal, 'Horse Carrousel', for the press presentation of Hermès and its theme ""Grand Manège".

Most of the riders I take care of have long hair.

If we ignore the helmet....the sensuality of untied hair, long and smooth, matches perfectly the sensuality of a horse's movements.

My experience has always been a spectator's one. When I was a child, I didn't have the occasion to discover horse riding, so I just discovered horses through my television with horse races, Frederic Rossif's animal footages or the great acts of the Gruss family.

Although I have always been fascinated by its anatomy, and its great beauty, I always felt a fear of the animal rather than an attraction.

It is through my job that I discovered the equestrian universe. Indeed, I quickly started to style great families of horse owners, so I was in Deauville and Chantilly, and it is through this open door that I attented trainings, sales and big Parisian races.

Pour la mode : j’ai adoré le travail de Gaultier chez Hermès.

Pour l’art : les chevaux en terre cuite d’Asie que l’on peut voir au musée Guimet me fascinent.

J’ai dû créer des coiffures pour un défilé pour Feraud où le thème était le cheval. Je m’étais inspiré des savants tressages des crinières des chevaux pour des scènes d’apparat.

Plus drôle, j’ai dû installer dans une coiffure très récemment un jouet en tôle Horse Carrousel pour la présentation presse Hermes / thème Grand Manege.

La plupart des cavalières dont je m’occupe ont les cheveux longs.
Si on fait abstraction de la bombe....., la sensualité des cheveux détachés, longs et souples se conjuguent parfaitement avec la sensualité des mouvements du cheval.
