Is riding at two barns a bad thing? I’ve been with my current trainer for over a year and I just started riding at this newer barn for fun too, and I really enjoy it. Is it wrong ?
I’m doing the same! At my current barn I am a working student and it’s more of a small family barn where we rehabilitate horses that have been abused in the past and i am starting to ride at a new barn to improve my riding it’s not wrong at all !
My horse has started chucking his head down when we are approaching the jump. Do you know any way to correct that ?
If he’s doing that a lot on the flat it could be the bit but I would also try to lift him up while riding on the flat :) and then start jumping a couple small jumps and see it’ll take practice !
I'm 18 years old and living in the UK. I sadly do not have my own horse or lease. I'm wanting to start my career in riding, do you have any advice? And would you recommend me to go to the university or to find an apprenticeship?
If you want to advance I would definitely consider being a working student you get to learn more about horses and you can ride many different horses everyday !
