I’ve recently heard about water fasting and its benefits... have you tried it before? It seems really cool! I’d love to try it someday!
I feel it wouldn’t be safe for equestrians - especially in my climate. We are in the sun for hours at a time. I think it could definitely be a useful tool on your off days.
What can I do with my new horse on the first day and his first week after arriving?
Anything you normally would. Just remember horses that have been out and showed are worked on the same day as travel a lot of the time. I would allow one day for settling in and start by lunging then riding within that first week. If you horse has travelled a lot you can offer an electrolyte paste or drink.
Any exercises to get my horse to lift his back legs over a jump? :)
