Does anyone know how to get a tail and mane go grow?
Keep it in plaits over the winter and only re do them every couple of weeks. This helps the hair grow longer and thicker. If you want to make your horses tail longer plait it from the bottom of the dock down, and if your horse is scratching it out try lubing up his/her bum and worming. If it’s not worms, leave it plaited and put coconut oil or honey heel on it daily.
Have a 3rd level dressage horse with big movement. I’m fine bareback but my leg moves too much riding him saddled. It’s the worst at the canter or sitting trot. Tips?
Make sure you have your leg around him at all times. It may be hard to start off with but it becomes second nature. Practice makes perfect
How can I earn extra money to buy tack for a horse? (P. S. I’m not old enough to get a job)
Depending on how old you are you could get a paper round. You can start them at 13, if you ask the owner of a corner store down the road from you they might need someone to hand out flyers etc
My horse has this new thing of throwing his head. It’s very violent and dangerous for him and I. I’ve ruled out ticks and flies. Any suggestions on how to solve this?
If there is nothing wrong with his back, you could try elastics/bungees to encourage him to stay in an outline and not fling his head.
