What are your ‘deal breakers’ when looking at a horse to lease or buy?
Mine was sweet itch and still is I recently purchased a 3yo mare this winter and now that the summer is around we have discovered she as sweet itch! But I'm so glad I bought her as she is my absolute heart horse! I would still never buy a horse knowing it has sweet itch
My horse likes to speed and slow down in the trot. What should I do to change that?
Same tip as the previous comment make sure you keep your seat consistent and half halts and also to add make sure your leg pressure is consistent also as less leg will slow down and more leg will speed up etc xx
How did your passion for horses begin ? Was it because you saw someone ride ? Because you saw movies ? Because your family already likes horses ? Something else ?
When I was 10 months old and on holidays my family let me do a pony ride and every year after that on holidays I would do a pony ride then I started lessons at 5 and pony camps and my passion just grew from there!
I’m having trouble getting my horses head down and relaxed at the trot. Do you have any tips?
I have a young mare currently in training I find with her anyway riding on a soft rein and getting her going off my leg she finds hee own natrual lower outline this was so it's not forced and looks beautiful I might add! ❤
