Im looking for a new pair of tall boots! I ride multiple horses a day and need them to be able to take a lot of wear and still look nice. My budget is $650CAD any suggestions?
Some brands make nice paddock boots and half-chaps that look like tall boots if you want to save your nice boots for shows. Think Ariat and treadstep have some.
My gelding has mastered the art of destroying bell boots and because he is an XL they are very hard to find and very expensive however he absolutely needs them. Suggestions?
Professionals choice has some nice ones. They might be kinda expensive, but they seem durable. I'm not sure how long they will last if you use them for turnout.
What exactly do you do as a working student and can you do it during high school?
My basic understanding is that you work for free, or a small stipend like food money or living arrangements, and gain knowledge from a professional. You might get lessons in exchange for your work. The work will depend on each trainer/rider. Some might just have you groom horses for them while others might have you muck out stalls and other barn chores. You can definitely be a working student in high school as long as your parents say yes and you find someone in your area that is willing to have you work around your school schedule.
